This Privacy Policy describes how Hybrid Engine ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure user experience.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with custom athletic tracking, onboarding, and cloud synchronization features, we collect the following categories of data:

• Account Information: Your email address and password when you register or sign in using Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In.
• Athlete Profile Data: Details you provide during profile setup, including your first name, date of birth (DOB), country, state/province, and postal code.
• Training Logs and Workout Metrics: Performance logs including workout names, exercises, repetitions, weights, distance, calories, timestamps, and weekly training schedules.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly for the following purposes:

• To set up and personalize your athlete profile dashboard.
• To calculate and graph your workout progress, personal bests, and athletic milestones.
• To back up your training data in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore and synchronize it across your devices.
• To process account restoration or deletion requests.

3. Data Storage and Protection

• Local Storage: Your data is stored locally on your device in a partitioned SQLite database database.
• Cloud Backup: Your data is synchronized to a secure database instance hosted on Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. Access to your online database partition is strictly secured via Firebase Security Rules, meaning only you can read or write your own training logs.
• We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers or analytics companies.

4. Data Retention and Account Deletion Policy

We believe in absolute data ownership. We retain your data only for as long as your account remains active.

• User-Initiated Deletion: You can request to delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Settings screen in the App.
• 90-Day Dormant Period: If you schedule your account for deletion, your account status is set to "Dormant" for 90 days. During this period, you can log back in and cancel the deletion at any time to restore your data.
• Permanent Purge: If you do not restore your account within 90 days, all your personal profile records, workout logs, schedules, and authentication records are permanently and irretrievably deleted from our database and cloud servers.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users who are at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
